With only 2 functional front legs, Dorothy lived her life to the fullest like any other cats. Dragging her body, she can go from one end to the other like in a blink of an eye. One second she’s at one side of the porch, and when my head is turned, she’s on the other side already, as if she teleported. On October 26, 2012, Dorothy died in my arms. She’s never alone on her last days. I brought Dorothy to the vet after she was rescued, and the prognosis was not good. The doctor said she would not live long due to the amount of feces accumulated in her body. I was determined to prolong her life, and religiously massaged her tummy to encourage her to defecate and urinate everyday. She’s my baby, and her passing affects me more than I imagined. She’s a beautiful cat, despite her deformities.
Willow and Katherine (Will and Kate) are two beautiful kittens of a stray cat. One of them look like an expensive breed, and the other, is just too cute. Too bad I rarely see them again. Mom did not like me setting them free. She wanted to keep them indoors all the time. I just could not do that, my conscience will not allow me to be so heartless, not when Katherine had this longing look to be set free. So there, I set them free…with a great cost. I love them all. And I miss them very much.
